However, their clinical application remains limited due to insufficient large-scale randomized controlled trials (RCTs), lack of standardized formulations and dosing regimens, and limited long-term safety data.</p> Objective <p>This systematic review aimed to evaluate the wound-healing efficacy of <i>Commiphora</i> species from clinical studies.</p> Methods <p>The present systematic review was conducted strictly according to PRISMA guidelines. For the extraction of data for this systematic review, we utilized various search databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and SpringerLink. Wound healing outcomes were assessed using clinical, histopathological, and standardized scoring methods. Risk bias analysis was performed by using the Cochrane RoB 2 tool, and quality of evidence of RCTs was assessed by GRADE assessment.</p> Results <p>Four randomized clinical studies involving a total of 265 participants met the eligibility criteria and were included in the review. The included studies demonstrated beneficial effects of <i>Commiphora</i> species on wound healing outcomes, pain reduction, and inflammatory responses across various clinical settings.</p> Conclusion <p>This systematic review suggests that <i>Commiphora myrrha</i> may support wound healing. However, before definitive clinical recommendations can be given, larger, well-designed RCTs are needed.</p>

However, their clinical application remains limited due to insufficient large-scale randomized controlled trials (RCTs), lack of standardized formulations and dosing regimens, and limited long-term safety data.

Objective

This systematic review aimed to evaluate the wound-healing efficacy of Commiphora species from clinical studies.

Methods
