Background <p>Dengue virus, previously considered non-neurotropic, has increasingly been associated with a wide spectrum of neurological manifestations including encephalitis, transverse myelitis, Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), rhabdomyolysis, hypokalemic paralysis, and myositis.</p> Case Series <p>We present three cases of quadriplegic neurological manifestations in confirmed dengue patients: (1) longitudinal extensive transverse myelitis (LETM), (2) hypokalemic paralysis mimicking GBS, and (3) dengue-associated myositis. Each case demonstrated significant neurological impairment with full recovery following early recognition and appropriate treatment. Notably, the LETM case showed an unusually rapid and complete neurological recovery, not typically observed in similar conditions.</p> Conclusion <p>These cases underscore the rare but significant neurological complications of dengue and emphasize the critical role of timely intervention in ensuring favorable outcomes.</p>

Background

Case Series
