<p>Lower respiratory tract infections are a widespread health issue and a common reason for hospital admissions. One factor contributing to recurring lower respiratory tract infections is abnormal mucosal ciliary function. Kartagener's syndrome, a rare genetic disorder, is characterized by situs inversus, bronchiectasis, and chronic sinusitis, which result from impaired ciliary movement. This primary ciliary dysfunction leads to frequent lower respiratory infections, infertility, and symptoms affecting the ear, nose, and throat. We present a case where the patient experienced recurrent upper and lower respiratory tract infections along with situs inversus. This is among the few reported cases in Kosovo, primarily due to limited diagnostic facilities. It is crucial for clinicians to be aware of this uncommon condition, as failure to recognize it may impede proper treatment, subject patients to unnecessary hospitalizations and tests, and prevent the prevention of various complications.</p>
