摘要

In this study, we report for the first time the natural occurrence of the hyperparasite Ampelomyces quisqualis infecting Podosphaera xanthii, a pathogen of Cucurbita argyrosperma subsp. sororia, in Mexico. Future research could focus on evaluating the potential of A. quisqualis isolates from C. argyrosperma subsp. sororia as a biocontrol agents against powdery mildew in susceptible crops.
