<p>Necrotic leaf spot symptoms were frequently observed during September to February, 2024–2025, in host plants, <i>Epipremnum aureum</i> (Linden &amp; André) G. S. Bunting grown in the lawns and plant nurseries. Repeated isolation of the pathogen, with consistent morpho-molecular characterization, align with the characteristics of <i>Aspergillus niger</i> Tiegh. Additionally, the pathogenicity test and subsequent re-isolation of the pathogen confirm the identity of the causal agent. This study concludes that <i>A. niger</i> is a newly reported pathogen responsible for brown leaf spot on <i>Epipremnum aureum</i> in Pakistan.</p>
