<p>In the present communication, morpho-molecular analysis of two highly edible mushrooms, <i>Sparassis latifolia</i> (<i>Sparassidaceae</i>) and <i>Hericium erinaceus</i> (<i>Hericiaceae</i>) is presented along with their ethnomycological importance. Comprehensive morphological descriptions, high-resolution colour photographs, detailed line drawings, and molecular phylogenetic analyses are provided to substantiate this finding. This study not only expands the known geographical distribution of <i>Sparassis latifolia</i> and <i>Hericium erinaceus</i>, but also underscores their ethnomycological relevance and potential applications in culinary contexts.</p>
