<p>In order to minimize the estimated 15–20% losses of the harvested mango fruits due to rot caused by fungi, ICAR-CISH technology was evaluated at different AICRP on Fruits centres. Experiments carried out for three consecutive years i.e. from 2020 to 2022 with 4 treatments were concluded with the findings that pre-harvest spray with difenoconazole 25 EC @ 0.5&#xa0;ml/l at 25–30&#xa0;days before onset of the monsoon or 30&#xa0;days before harvest followed by post-harvest hot water treatment of fruits at 52 ± 1&#xa0;°C for 10&#xa0;min was the best treatment for the management of post-harvest diseases of mango fruits (Range of percent reduction for each disease&#xa0;viz<i>.</i>, anthracnose (17.9–100%), stem end rot (12.5–100%) and Aspergillus rot (0–100%). The incidence of shoulder browning disease is mainly confined to northern states but rest of the diseases occurred at all the centres. Pre-harvest spray with difenoconazole 25–30&#xa0;days before onset of monsoon was found highly effective in&#xa0;reducing the severity&#xa0;the shoulder browning disease (60.3–87.5%).&#xa0;The C:B ratio of best treatment ranged&#xa0;between 1:2.43 to 1:10 at different centres. Significant interaction among treatments and location were observed but the year of experimentation had insignificant effect. The multi-location trial led to the approval of technology, pre-harvest spray with difenoconazole 25 EC @ 0.5&#xa0;ml/l at 25–30&#xa0;days before onset of monsoon or 30&#xa0;days before harvest followed by post-harvest hot water treatment of fruits at 52 ± 1 °C for 10&#xa0;min, under AICRP on fruits.</p>
