Der Einfluss der Umsetzungstreue auf die Mathematikleistung – am Beispiel einer Interventionsstudie im zweiten Schuljahr
摘要
Implementation fidelity is an important means of ensuring good scientific practice. However, implementation fidelity data are still largely treated superficially and not included in the analysis of outcomes. This study aims to make a first contribution to closing this research gap. It draws on data from a longitudinal study in mathematics classes of second grades. For this purpose specific teaching materials were developed and implemented in regular classes to promote basic arithmetic skills. The relation between fidelity of implementation and student outcomes was measured empirically. Participants included 305 students and 22 teachers. The dataset comprised pre- and post-test scores of student performance in mathematics, as well as audio recordings of mathematics lessons. The results show that fidelity of implementation is significant in their ability to predict student outcomes.
