<p>To reduce the impact on the environment, this study explores new dye products and environmentally friendly dyeing methods for sports textiles that are hygienic and antioxidant. This study used an exhaust dyeing procedure to apply a natural dye derived from the <i>Clitoria ternatea</i> flower on polyester/lycra textiles. The aqueous extract of flowers combined with metallic mordants produced a variety of colors, such as yellow, green, blue, and pink. The color coordinates CIE <i>L* a* b*</i>, the <i>K/S</i> value, and the dyed samples’ fastness characteristics were used to evaluate the dyeing performances. Mordanting agents improve the depth of shade and also fastness by 1 to 2 grades. The chemical makeup of the dyed sample was validated by the FTIR spectroscopy analysis, which showed that the P/L blend fabric and the groups in the aqueous extract were attached. Using standard techniques, the dyed fabric’s antibacterial and antioxidant qualities were examined. It showed 71.05–100% reduction in both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria in addition to almost 50% increase in antioxidant qualities. When evaluated using established techniques, the jersey fabric’s functional qualities demonstrate a considerable improvement in both MMT and UPF value.</p>
