摘要

Because it employs a significant percentage of the workforce, the textile industry is one of the most valuable sectors of the economy. On the other hand, as the textile industry has grown, environmental concerns have grown. Textile industry wastewater has an unfavorable color, a high COD, toxicity, and poor biodegradability. The primary source of color in textile wastewater is the dyes used in the printing or dying process. Therefore, Electrocoagulation-assisted Fenton Reagent as advanced oxidation processes are regarded as the best and most promising color removal technologies currently available. So, this review summarizes and defines the types of dyes and water pollution, advantages and disadvantages of electrocoagulation (EC), and parameters affected by the EC process.
