The study aims to explore the revolutionary potential of quantum dots, particularly in the realm of water treatment. Its central inquiry examines the extent to which quantum dots can enhance the detection and elimination of pollutants in water systems. This innovative category of materials demonstrates distinctive absorbance and photoluminescence characteristics, making them highly effective in catalyzing photoreactions involving dyes and contaminants. Notably, empirical evidence illustrates a notable shift, indicating excitation-dependent emission spectra with adaptable features across various wavelengths.
