<p>Acupuncture is increasingly being used worldwide as a treatment method for assisted reproductive technologies due to its advantages such as ease of administration, effective healing, minimal pain, and rapid response. However, there are differing opinions regarding the specific methods, not only regarding the selection of acupuncture points and acupuncture techniques, but also regarding the duration, intensity, and frequency of intervention, for example.</p><p>This study examines the potential of acupuncture combined with moxibustion therapy for male infertility based on literature, which clearly presents these topics.</p><p>However, the low quality and methodological weaknesses of the studies are severely limiting and make standardization of treatment protocols and reproducibility of results difficult.</p>
