Integrative Onkologie – wie Integrative Medizin in der gynäkologischen Onkologie praktischen Einsatz findet
摘要
Integrative oncology strives for individual holistic patient care and combines conventional procedures with those of complementary medicine. This promotes treatment compliance, reduces treatment-associated side effects and increases the acceptance of necessary conventional therapies. In the long term, it can contribute to establishment of a healthier lifestyle. Patients should also be informed about possible side effects and interactions. Since there are not yet sufficient data available on many complementary medicine procedures, honest communication is necessary. “Should” recommendations are available, e.g., for fatigue the recommendation to perform sports, tai chi/qi gong or yoga, and acupuncture for joint pain under endocrine therapy. During oncological therapy, methods of complementary medicine should be offered to patients and openly discussed at the beginning of treatment.
