Reduktion von Phantomschmerzen nach Wechsel von Körperakupunktur auf Ohrakupunktur – ein Fallbericht
摘要
We describe an 80-year-old female patient with severe, mainly nocturnal phantom pain after lower limp amputation in the context of closure of a femorocrural fibular bypass in fourth-degree peripheral arterial occlusive disease. Sufficient drug analgesia could not be achieved. Body acupuncture was unsuccessful in the presence of marked immobility and insufficient positioning. A change of the therapeutic regime seemed necessary. We therefore present a pragmatic auricular acupuncture concept that can be implemented time-efficiently in a geriatric setting. After eight sessions, the patient was pain-free at night.
