<p><i>Eucalyptus</i> is a tree native to Australia widely cultivated worldwide, mainly in Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia and South America. This tree is responsible for major financial gains in the pulp, paper and wood industries. However, several bacterial phytopathogens are capable of infecting the plantations and leading to massive losses in economy and production. Among these pathogens, species of <i>Ralstonia</i> and <i>Erwinia</i> are of particular relevance due to their impact on plant health and disease severity. Despite the damage they cause, the infection mechanisms of these bacteria remain poorly understood, and effective control strategies are still lacking. Therefore, this review aims to provide a discussion on bacterial phytopathogens affecting <i>Eucalyptus</i>, with a focus on <i>Ralstonia solanacearum</i> and <i>Erwinia psidii.</i> Additionally, we include information about other phytopathogenic bacteria associated with <i>Eucalyptus</i> diseases (<i>Xanthomonas</i>, <i>Pantoea</i>, <i>Agrobacterium</i>, <i>Pseudomonas</i>, and <i>Rahnella victoriana</i>) while also exploring alternative control methods to mitigate their effects.</p>
