Chinese expert consensus on magnetic resonance enterography of the small intestine and standardized reporting guidelines: translation
摘要
Magnetic Resonance Enterography (MRE) has become a routine imaging technique for assessing small bowel diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), small bowel tumors, bowel obstruction, and certain congenital or systemic disorders. However, variability exists in the execution, diagnosis, and reporting processes across different regions of China. To address these discrepancies, the Abdominal Radiology Group of the Chinese Society of Radiology assembled experts to review international guidelines and relevant domestic and international literature. After extensive discussion, a consensus was developed regarding pre-examination preparation, technical specifications, indications, and structured reporting to standardize MRE practices in clinical settings.
