<p>This reply addresses critiques of our book <i>What Is a&#xa0;Good Childhood?</i> by emphasizing the necessity of an interdisciplinary approach to childhood studies. Since no single discipline can capture the full complexity of childhood, we argue for dialogical openness between philosophy, ethics, history, pedagogy, and social sciences. Engaging with commentaries from Jörg Löschke, Claudia Wiesemann, and Martina Winkler, we examine parental responsibilities, the temporal dimension of children’s well-being, and the historical variability of childhood concepts. We highlight the challenges of responsibility attribution, normativity, and pluralism, while reaffirming that five core goods remain constitutive for a&#xa0;good childhood globally.</p>
