摘要

The pelvic floor represents a central interface between urogynecological function, sexual arousal and subjective sexual well-being. However, it is often addressed only in the context of dysfunction or pain. This article discusses the interaction of pelvic floor muscles, perception, breathing and movement based on the WHO definition of sexual health (2006) and the sexual therapeutic model Sexocorporel. Functional anatomical relationships between the pelvic floor, erectile tissues and the diaphragmatic chain are described, with special focus on muscle tone, vasocongestion and sensorimotor integration. Practical perception- and coordination-based interventions are presented, with relevance for sexual dysfunctions, dyspareunia, vulvodynia and postpartum sexual problems. The role of the pelvic floor in pregnancy and childbirth is also discussed. The article advocates an integrative biopsychosocial perspective on sexual health.
