Impfungen in Kindesalter und Adoleszenz
摘要
Vaccinations in childhood and adolescence are one of the most important pillars of disease prevention. They do not only protect the child but also contribute to herd immunity by preventing the spread of infectious diseases in the population. This is especially important for children and population groups that, due to chronic or congenital diseases, are at increased risk of severe infections or cannot receive adequate immunisation. This article summarises the most important aspects of the current recommendations of the Austrian vaccination schedule for children and adolescents.
