Endocrine and hepatic disease are common in general population, whereof the occurence of both conditions together is frequently observed. On the other hand, there is an impact of certain endocrinopathies on the development of liver disease, as well as direct effects of advanced liver failure on the endocrine system. This interplay will be highlighted in the article.
