摘要

Spiking neural P systems with target indications are a branch of parallel distributed computing models in which neurons communicate information through spikes. Target indications guide the transmission direction of the generated spikes. This paper introduces three characteristics, and proposes a novel variant called weighted target indications spiking neural P systems with inhibitory rules and time schedule (WTSNP-IT systems). In the WTSNP-IT systems, synapses have different weights simulating the number of synapses between neurons; the activation condition of inhibitory rules in a neuron is according to spikes in it and its inhibitory neurons; and time schedule defines the execution time of rules. These new features not only make the transmission of spikes in WTSNP-IT systems more flexible, but also give WTSNP-IT systems a powerful control, and the rules are executed by the neurons in a more precise time. The Turing universality of WTSNP-IT systems is proved.
