Modeling oil production management with fractional-order dynamics and complexity analysis

This paper investigates the dynamics and complexity of an oil management system using a fractional-order model. By incorporating fractional calculus, the model captures the memory and hereditary effects inherent in oil supply chains. Stability and chaos in the system are analyzed through fractional-order differential equations, revealing richer dynamics compared to traditional models. Numerical simulations and complexity measures, such as Lyapunov exponents and bifurcation diagrams, highlight the system’s sensitivity to fractional orders. The study demonstrates that fractional-order modeling provides deeper insights into oil management, enhancing strategies for sustainable resource management.
