A technique for evaluating the final implant position relative to the pre-operative plan using digital impressions
摘要
Different techniques have been introduced in the literature to evaluate the accuracy of computer-guided implant placement. Some of the already proposed techniques require an additional post-operative Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) to be obtained while others require different software to be used. The purpose of this case report is to exhibit a case that was completed for implant placement and through this case to explain a technique that allows for a simple and fast evaluation of the final implant position in comparison to the pre-operative implant planning with the use of a post-operative intraoral scan with a scan body and one single software.
