Sampling inspection plans for life tests based on Lomax distribution
摘要
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) products are primarily utilized in energy-related applications, encompassing various equipment and vehicles designed to use CNG as a fuel source. Life testing of these products is essential to ensure their reliability and performance over time. Life testing assesses the long-term durability and safety of CNG products under varying stress conditions, helping to identify potential failures and improve product design to surpass quality standards. In this study, sampling inspection plans for life tests are developed for CNG products, with the assumption that the lifetime follows the Lomax distribution. A procedure based on mean, median, and reliable life criteria has been established to design the optimal sampling plan with minimal sample sizes, ensuring protection for both producers and consumers. Detailed tables and figures have been created, accompanied by relevant illustrations specifically tailored for CNG product manufacturing.
