<p>In this article, we propose a new control chart for mean based on multiple dependent state repetitive sampling technique under the assumption of the exponential power distributed quality characteristic. The new control chart incorporates two sets of control limits. Average run length is used to assess the performance of the new control chart. The advantages of the proposed control chart over single sampling, repetitive sampling, and multiple dependent state sampling are discussed using simulation studies. A real-life example is considered to establish the effectiveness of the new control chart for mean.</p>
