Acceptance sampling plans for extended Rama distribution based on truncated lifetime tests

In this article, novel acceptance sampling plans (ASPs) based on the extended Rama distribution (ERD) are proposed under the assumption that the lifetime is truncated at a predefined level. The average lifetime is considered a quality parameter. For given values of the distribution parameter, the operating characteristic function, the minimal sample size, and the producer’s risk are estimated for the proposed ASP. Additionally, a real dataset fitted to the ERD is analyzed to illustrate the benefits of the newly proposed ASP. It is found that the suggested ASPs can be used efficiently by the researchers.
