<p>In this study, we introduce a naval ratio type estimator for population mean estimation using an auxiliary attribute with one auxiliary variable in stratified sampling. We compute the minimum mean square error (MSE) and higher percentage relative efficiency (PRE), which are proposed estimators, as compared to the MSE and PRE, which are existing estimators. Theoretical observations are verified through numerical examples. Then we conclude that the proposed estimator is more efficient as compared to existing estimators. A proposed estimate has been used for real-world practical applicability: census surveys, agricultural surveys, healthcare studies, market research and environmental studies etc.</p>
