Reliability analysis of landing architecture of aircraft using Fermatean fuzzy arithmetic operation

The takeoff and landing of an airplane are highly crucial to its safety. Therefore, it is essential to evaluate the precise reliability of the landing system of any aircraft to maintain its safety. This study proposes novel arithmetic operations on triangular fermatean fuzzy numbers (TFFN) for system reliability analysis that can be useful for accurately assessing the reliability of a complex system. The system reliability of series and parallel is computed through the proposed arithmetic operation on TFFNs. Then, the suggested arithmetic operations are used to analyze the reliability of the landing system of a Boeing 747 airplane (LSB747A), a combination of series and parallel systems.
