PI controller design for non-ideal DC-DC buck converter using grey wolf optimization algorithm
摘要
This study aims to design a simple and robust controller for DC-DC buck converter (DCBC).. In this study, the small-signal analysis method is used for non-ideal modelling of DCBC. A Grey Wolf optimized proportional integral (PI) controller is selected as a controller for the non-ideal model of DCBC with the integral of the absolute error weighted over time (ITAE) as the fitness function. The controller’s performance is tested in hardware using a LabVIEW myRIO 1900 module. The hardware results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed controller in overcoming input voltage variations and load resistance variations in the DCBC. The controller also provides excellent reference voltage tracking performance, with no overshoot and steady state error.
