Distributed authorization scheme using lagrange interpolation and attribute-based encryption for secure image encryption
摘要
In this paper, a distributed authorization and encryption framework for secure image sharing in cloud environments is presented. The technique uses Lagrange interpolation to enable multiparty key reconstruction using Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption (CP-ABE). Asymmetric encryption is used to encrypt and distribute the symmetric secret key, which is subsequently separated using Shamir’s Secret Sharing. Lightweight Functional-Based Encryption (LW-FBE) is used together with XOR procedures to ensure data confidentiality and computational efficiency. In order to decrypt data, the technique introduces a threshold mechanism (k ≥ 3) that requires cooperation between data owners and consumers. Differential attack analysis, statistical correlation and encryption time are used to measure performance. The framework is appropriate for high-security applications in industries like healthcare and finance due to its components are resistant to chosen-plaintext and collusion attacks.
