The analysis reveals that smartphone commerce is a global phenomenon, with significant contributions from institutions and scholars across the world. Key themes identified include mobile payments, personalized advertising, and app-based retail strategies. The study also highlights the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and the role of theories such as the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in shaping consumer behavior research. The United States, China, and India lead the field in research output, while institutions like Yonsei University and MIT are at the forefront of mobile commerce research.
