<p>India is not an exception when it comes to the development, propagation, and possession of Child Sexual Exploitation Materials (CSEM), a concern that has spread around the world. The creation, distribution, possession, or viewing of CSEM is illegal and constitutes a serious crime. Despite its widespread prevalence, there is a lack of comprehensive frameworks for CSEM research in many countries, including India, which are essential for ensuring the admissibility of CSEM evidence in a court of law. While the government is responsible for ensuring a secure online environment for its citizens, the study highlights existing policies and recommends a robust blockchain-based CSEM (B-CSEM-I) model to safeguard the integrity of evidence and workflow in CSEM cases during investigations. The study concludes that the use of blockchain technology can significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of CSEM investigations in India, while also safeguarding the privacy and security of all involved parties.</p>
