Experimental evaluation of cognitive frequency UAV-Radar for disaster search and rescue mission
摘要
This paper presents a novel cognitive frequency radar system mounted on an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for search and rescue missions in post-disaster scenarios. The system dynamically adapts its operating frequency to ensure interference-free detection, enhancing mission efficiency. It enables real-time differentiation between unconscious survivors and deceased victims by analyzing vital signs. Experimental results validate the effectiveness of the frequency-adaptive feature in improving detection accuracy, especially under challenging conditions such weak or high-rate respiration. This work contributes to advancing UAV-based life detection technology for effective disaster response applications.
