A tropical algebraic collatz conjecture based key exchange protocol for IoT environment
摘要
The Collatz conjecture is a renowned unsolved problem in mathematics. This paper explores the conjecture within the context of tropical algebra, demonstrating that it remains valid and its proof becomes apparent. We utilize the Collatz function to generate unique Collatz codes, which serve as the basis for creating secret keys. These keys are then applied in secure communication protocols for Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Our analysis of the proposed scheme shows promising results, highlighting its potential for enhancing IoT security. By integrating the properties of tropical algebra with established cryptographic principles, the proposed protocol offers a robust and scalable solution for key exchange. This work contributes to advancing the security infrastructure of IoT systems, addressing critical challenges in secure communication.
