Lattice-based device-to-device authentication and key exchange protocol for IoT system
摘要
Protecting IoT environments from the increasing number of cyber threats has grown more important as the number of Internet of Things (IoT) devices continues to grow. Traditional cryptographic methods are susceptible to attacks from quantum computers, necessitating the exploration of alternative approaches. This work presents a decentralized authentication and key exchange protocol using lattice-based cryptography, specifically designed for IoT devices. Our protocol guarantees strong authentication and data privacy in IoT scenarios by utilizing the inherent qualities of Blockchain technology, such as immutability, openness, traceability, and fault tolerance. We address the security concerns raised by quantum computing by utilizing lattice-based cryptography. We address the security concerns raised by quantum computing by utilizing lattice-based cryptography. Rigorous security analysis has confirmed that our proposed method provides safe key creation and mutual authentication for internal and external domain communications.
