An ontological and semantics based knowledge acquisition correlated framework for corporate organizations

Corporate Governance aids organizations in controlling their operations. Corporate governance disclosure practices (CGDP) involves disclosure of financial aspects to the key stakeholders in order to boost productivity and enhance performance. The manuscript proposes ontology based semantic knowledge framework for unveiling the relationship among attributes contributing to CGDP achievement. The framework is authenticated through Pellet and ontology web language-description logic (OWL-DL) reasoners for deriving inferences with the help of a set of rules. Such rules are termed as Semantic Web Rule Language (SWRL) rules. Further, verification is done using correlation analysis to verify the predicted results and the proposed framework is compared with existing works based on evaluation parameters such as customer satisfaction, diversity and employee engagement.
