摘要

Pre-characterized raw (near Neutral pH stream) Dental wastewater (DWWN) was treated by ECC in < 60 min hydraulic retention time (HRT) simultaneously removing multiple pollutants effectively using two dimensional (2D) copper (Cu) and stainless steel (SS) electrodes.

Batch ECC results showed good performance by SS for COD and colour removal compared to Cu, whereas Cu electrodes were effective removing TDS and chloride from raw DWWN.

ECC obtained sludge for SS was subjected to gravity settling, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Electron Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscope (EDXS) and CHNSO (Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Sulfur, and Oxygen) analysis for assessing metal and elemental composition, XRD etc.
