Alevitische Identität in der Diaspora: Erfahrungen von Exklusion und soziale Integration im deutschsprachigen Raum

摘要

This article explores the experiences of exclusion and social integration of Alevis in the German-speaking region. Despite being a minority compared to Sunni Muslims from Turkey, Alevis hold significant importance in migration and religious studies. The article is based on qualitative interviews with Alevis aged 20 to 56, born in Germany, Austria, or Turkey. It examines how Alevis live out their religious and cultural traditions in daily life and how they have experienced exclusion due to their Alevi identity. The study also discusses the role of the Alevi diaspora in Germany and Austria, and their relationship with Turkish Sunni organizations and the Turkish state. The article provides a profound insight into the Alevi community and their interaction with society in the German-speaking region.
