Plan Durable Carbon Dioxide Removal with Pinch Analysis
摘要
Although negative emission technologies (NETs) will be critical for climate change mitigation, they yield carbon dioxide removal (CDR) with varying degrees of permanence or durability. This heterogeneity of sequestration quality is potentially problematic. In this perspective paper, we argue that time-tested process integration principles and techniques can be readily adapted to the emerging problem of planning CDR portfolios.
