Babyboomer weg, Wissen weg – Partizipative Entwicklung eines KI-basierten, selbstlernenden Assistenzsystems zur Erfassung und Sicherung von implizitem Wissen in der Produktion

The retirement of long-serving employees confronts companies with the challenge of identifying essential tacit experiential knowledge and safeguarding it for future generations. Current approaches to this are time-consuming and costly. In the KI_eeper research project, an AI-based assistance system is being developed to automatically identify, store and transfer knowledge during the work process. The article addresses operational challenges of knowledge transfer, AI-based solutions and use cases as well as a socio-technical work design to enable knowledge transfer. Conceived and already implemented measures to promote acceptance are presented. The article concludes with initial results, a conclusion and an outlook on the next steps in the project.
