<p>Political goals are usually implemented in the form of laws and regulations that create bureaucratic burdens in business and society. Politicians are trying to counteract the consequences of an increasing regulation density with measures to reduce the burden, but companies are complaining about the threat of paralysis in their activities due to growing bureaucracy in Germany. This is also contributing to the stagnation of the German economy. The new federal government consisting of CDU, CSU and SPD seems to have recognized this problem, committing itself in the coalition agreement to a&#xa0;courageous reduction in bureaucracy and establishing a&#xa0;new Ministry for Digitalization and State Modernization to coordinate the reduction of bureaucracy and the expansion of e‑government in Germany.</p>
