Constitutions are subject to constant change. This is also desirable and necessary if a constitution is to endure in the long term. Particularly against the backdrop of the manifold challenges currently facing the constitution and the rule of law, adaptability and robustness are absolutely essential attributes. This ZPol-Focus examines the question of the current state and future of the constitution and the rule of law in Germany and internationally.
