<p>The family Blenniidae, comprising 59 genera and 410 species, is distributed across various oceans, including temperate, cool, and warm regions. In the Southern Iranian waters, 19 species from 10 genera of blenniids have been identified. This research aimed to examine the body shape and morphological differences among nine blennies using the landmark-based Geometric Morphometrics Method. A total of 165 adult samples from different species were collected from the rocky shores of Chabahar. The species included <i>Antennablennius bifilum </i><i>Antennablennius variopunctatus </i><i>Istiblennius pox</i> Springer and Williams <CitationRef CitationID="CR58">1994</CitationRef>, <i>Istiblennius spilotus</i> Springer and Williams <CitationRef CitationID="CR58">1994</CitationRef>, <i>Omobranchus fasciolatus </i><i>Omobranchus mekranensis </i><i>Entomacrodus striatus </i><i>Scartella emarginata</i> and <i>Alticus kirkii</i>. Sampling was conducted from intertidal and subtidal zones. Thirteen landmarks were digitized to analyze and compare the morphological traits of the blennies. According to Principal Component Analysis, Canonical Variates Analysis, and Cluster Analysis, significant differences in body shapes were determined based on head and anal fin. The most prominent distinctions were observed between <i>S. emarginata</i> and <i>A. kirkii</i> compared to other species. <i>Istiblennius pox</i> was clustered with representatives of <i>Antennablennius</i> and <i>Omobranchus</i>, while <i>I. spilotus</i> showed a closer relationship to <i>E. striatus</i>. <i>Antennablennius bifilum</i> and <i>A. variopunctatus</i>, as well as <i>O. fasciolatus</i> and <i>O. mekranensis</i>, exhibited considerable overlap. These findings could enhance comprehension of the morphological variances in these fish along the Gulf of Oman.; furthermore, Geometric Morphometrics Method could be valuable for identifying Blenniidae species.</p>
