Intelligent automatic lighting system based on deep learning and computer vision
摘要
The current research introduces an AI-powered automated lighting system that maximizes energy efficiency without sacrificing visual comfort. The system adjusts to room size, movement, occupant density, and brightness levels to intelligently combine artificial and natural light. One or more deep learning-powered cameras that identify people and calculate density are connected to a central electrical panel that manages the lights in real time. To facilitate camera processing, a presence detecting system turns on minimum lights if the room is entirely dark. An image-based vision system or customized luminance sensors that examine the distribution of light in various zones are used to assess luminance (lx). By distinguishing between artificial and natural light, these sensors guarantee ideal brightness levels. This system is a smart and sustainable option for modern environments because it improves energy efficiency, lowers unnecessary power use, and offers an intuitive, adaptable lighting experience by dynamically modifying lighting based on real-time data.
