Recent decades have seen an emphasis on developing novel, environmentally friendly solutions, which has made a thorough analysis of cutting-edge practices necessary. This work investigates deeply into the topic of supercritical bioresource processing and highlights the difficult procedures needed to create extracts or powders with exact morphological control, especially in reactive environments. This research aims to provide readers a comprehensive knowledge of this novel approach by exploring its underlying concepts in greater detail and elucidating its practical applications via the use of engaging case examples. We further point out that supercritical processing offers exceptional environmental benefits, particularly in easing ecological limitations and promoting the shift to sustainable practices. By emphasizing the synergistic link between sustainability and supercritical processing, we intend to extend the discourse on the development of ecological management and the adoption of economically and environmentally sound technology. This research encourages thoughtful decision-making by highlighting the need of using innovative approaches to address today’s environmental issues.
