摘要

Ananas comosus was used in this study for the sustainable synthesis of Zn nanoparticles. Definitely, this obtains a sustainable economic synthetic approach in comparison with usual toxic and expensive chemical techniques with the cost of 0–500 $ per batch (excluding characterization). The ananas leaf extracted with Nano ZnO particles that were subjected to UV ray vis analysis for several times. While the formation of zinc dioxide Nano particles displayed apparently within five minutes with evidence of Surface Plasmon Bands between 440 and460 nm. Then using X-ray diffraction methods, the crystals was equally characterized. After appearing of ZnO particles with the average size of 10 nm, the samples screened against Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Streptococcus pneumonia and Staphylococcus aureus using Gentamicin as control. So, based on the results obtained, there is evidence of inhibition towards bacteria growth. Finally, it can now be emphasis based on this study that biosynthesis of nano particles could be an approach to our numerous health issues.
