Wastewater treatment with sustainable bionanocomposites: a comprehensive review
摘要
The growing water contamination catastrophe highlights the pressing need to protect this essential resource for future generations. An over-reliance on synthetic chemicals seriously threatens the environment and human health. As a result, sustainable development is recognized as an essential strategy for promoting social and economic advancement. It is in this dire situation that adopting greener techniques becomes essential. Because of their remarkable qualities, bionanocomposites hold great potential for wastewater management. They are excellent in eliminating organic and inorganic pollutants, making removing colors, heavy metals, and rare earth metals from wastewater easier. This study highlights the significance of bionanocomposites in addressing wastewater treatment challenges and underscores their potential for sustainable water management practices.
