摘要

The distinctive electrical structures, varied chemical compositions, and exceptional stability of transition metal oxides (TMOs) as photocatalysts are highlighted in this review’s thorough analysis. It emphasizes the mechanics of charge separation, light absorption, and surface reactions that underlie photocatalytic activities. Applications of TMOs that are essential to solving today’s global issues are covered in the review, including organic synthesis, hydrogen production, and environmental remediation. Environmentally friendly techniques that improve photocatalytic efficiency and selectivity are examined in relation to recent developments in the synthesis and design of TMOs. Additionally, the paper seeks to help novice researchers comprehend the synthesis of metal nanoparticles and Photocatalysis events. The integration of TMOs with other materials, innovative fabrication methods, and the creation of scalable and sustainable photocatalytic systems are highlighted in the future perspectives that are provided. This study leads future creative applications of TMOs in Photocatalysis and is a useful resource for researchers by offering an up-to-date and thorough analysis.
