摘要

Production of post-tension grout that meets the required limitations can be challenging due to many factors such as precise mixing, material variability, workability, shrinkage, curing conditions, environmental factors, and testing/quality control. This manuscript aims to review the research and the challenges faced the researchers to produce high performance grout. The identified challenges include bleeding, shrinkage, inadequate compressive strength, corrosion protection, material compatibility, and the significance of proper construction practices. Understanding and addressing these issues are crucial for enhancing the reliability and sustainability of post-tensioned systems. It was found that using high performance grout is crucial to the post tension industry. Furthermore, at the end of this manuscript, a recommendation for further study is given. There is a need for the development of high-performance grouts that can meet the requirements of post-tensioning applications. Research can focus on the development of grouts with improved flow properties, compressive strength, and bonding properties.
