摘要

This paper discusses the application of carboxylic-functionalized graphene in wearable sensors for medical purposes, focusing on their characterization and properties. The proposed concept is experimentally validated using TESCAN field emission gun scanning electron microscopy (MIRA3) at varying high voltages (5 kV, 10 kV, 15 kV, 20 kV, and 25 kV) while maintaining a constant emission current. The improvements in the characterization of carboxylic-functionalized graphene are quantified, demonstrating enhancements from 652 to 502 µm at 5 kV, 354 µm to 206 µm at 10 kV, a consistent 207 µm at 15 kV, 38.1 µm to 3.01 µm at 20 kV, and 2.56 µm to 2.19 µm at 25 kV. Scanning images affirm that the proposed graphene characterization is effectively reflected on the wearable surface, contributing to improved performance in sensor devices.
